When this homeowner first reached out, she had a clear vision for the style she wanted but wasn't sure how to navigate the remodeling process. Partnering with Next Level Kitchens, A Lue Designs helped transform an outdated kitchen into a space that better reflected the contemporary aesthetic of the rest of her home while creating a more cohesive flow throughout the main living areas.

Rather than replacing cabinetry that was still in excellent condition, we recommended cabinet refacing—a cost-effective approach that refreshed the doors, drawer fronts, and exterior finishes while preserving the existing cabinet boxes. This allowed us to completely update the look of the kitchen while making the most of the client's investment.

To elevate the space, we paired two complementary natural stone slabs—one for the countertops and another for the backsplash—creating visual interest while eliminating traditional grout lines for a cleaner, lower-maintenance finish. Updated lighting, plumbing fixtures, and counter stools completed the transformation, bringing the entire space together with a refined, contemporary feel.

The result is a kitchen that feels brighter, more functional, and seamlessly connected to the rest of the home—proving that thoughtful design isn't always about starting over, but about making intentional decisions that deliver the greatest impact.
