A Lue Designs partnered with the owner of Artifex Tattoo to transform a newly purchased warehouse into a modern, functional tattoo and piercing studio that reflected his vision while supporting the future growth of his business. Inspired by an industrial aesthetic with a sophisticated palette of gray, black, and gold, the design balances bold visual impact with the practical needs of a high-traffic commercial environment.

Every design decision was made with both functionality and longevity in mind. Durable materials such as leather, metal, and wood were carefully selected to withstand daily use while supporting the cleanliness and sanitation standards essential to the tattoo industry. Thoughtful space planning, integrated storage solutions, and strategically placed partitions helped create an efficient workflow while maintaining an open, welcoming atmosphere for both artists and clients.

Beyond creating a professional workspace, the goal was to design an environment where clients would feel comfortable spending time and where the owner could continue growing his business with confidence. The result is a commercial space that is both highly functional and reflective of the Artifex brand—one the owner continues to receive compliments on and is proud to call his own.
