After relocating from Southern California to Arvada, Colorado, this homeowner wanted her new house to feel like home while celebrating the coastal influences she loved most. Inspired by fond memories of Catalina Island, we created a design that blends coastal, bohemian, and vintage-inspired elements into a space that feels relaxed, welcoming, and uniquely personal.

The project included the complete furnishing and styling of the home's first floor, including the front sitting room, dining room, entryway, hallway, and living room. To brighten the interior, we refreshed the walls with new paint and introduced subtle textured wallpaper to add warmth and visual interest throughout the main hallway. Layered lighting—including updated fixtures, sconces, and lamps—helped create a comfortable, lived-in atmosphere while enhancing the home's overall character.

Every design decision was tailored to the homeowner's lifestyle, from selecting durable finishes that could stand up to everyday life with her dogs to thoughtfully arranging each room for both entertaining and daily living. Rather than replacing everything, we also incorporated several of her existing furnishings, giving treasured pieces a new purpose within the overall design. The result is a cohesive, inviting home that reflects her personality, honors her roots, and feels both timeless and deeply personal.
